Kazakhstan and Jordan Strengthen Digital Cooperation

Kazakhstan continues to expand its international digital partnerships, enhancing collaboration with key global partners. As part of a working visit to Jordan, the Minister of Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhaslan Madiyev, participated in the General Assembly of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) - a leading international platform uniting countries in the field of digital cooperation. His participation reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to global digital transformation and innovation-driven economic growth.
During the visit, high-level meetings were held with the digital ministers of Jordan, Pakistan, Oman, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait. The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in digitalization, supporting IT startups, and integrating advanced technologies that drive economic growth and innovation.
A key outcome of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Jordan, laying the foundation for strategic collaboration in information and communication technologies, artificial intelligence, e-government, smart cities, and startup ecosystem development.
During a bilateral meeting between Kazakhstan’s Minister of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry, Zhaslan Madiyev, and Jordan’s Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Issa Eid Summirat, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to knowledge exchange and joint initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and digital transformation in both countries.
Additionally, Minister Madiyev met with Jordan’s Prime Minister, where discussions centered on the prospects of digital partnership and strengthening economic cooperation. Both Kazakhstan and Jordan expressed readiness to actively develop bilateral relations, create favorable conditions for technological progress, and implement digital solutions that will contribute to sustainable economic growth.
Kazakhstan remains dedicated to expanding international cooperation in digital development, fostering innovation, and creating an environment conducive to technological progress. The agreements reached during this visit mark an important step toward a more interconnected and digitally advanced future for both nations.
