During a working trip to Shalkar district, the regional akim visited a school and kindergarten that had undergone major renovations.
The Idris Urgenishbayev school has 700 students and 141 teachers.
The school was renovated by “Construction Group SAMRUK” LLP. 478 million tenge was spent from the budget. New equipment, new tables, furniture, interactive boards, and musical instruments for classes were also purchased for the cafeteria, gym, and computer class. There is a mini-football field in the schoolyard. In winter, an ice rink was built to replace it.
Askhat Shakharov got acquainted with the school's quiet life and engaged the students in conversation. Zhangul Zharylkasova, a 10th grade student, noted that the school has excellent conditions for studying and told about her achievements in the Olympiads.
“Now our school has new classrooms and digital equipment, which will undoubtedly make studying much more interesting. We have robotics classes, and it is very interesting. I often participate in various Olympiads, and thanks to new digital subjects, I learn a lot. This helps me prepare for competitions and take first places,” admitted Zhangul Zharylkasova.
After school, the akim visited kindergarten No. 12 “Bobekzhai”.
The preschool is located in a building built in 1963. Since its foundation, the kindergarten has not undergone major repairs. 140 children are brought up here.
“In 2024, 210 million tenge was allocated from the regional budget for the renovation of the kindergarten. The roof and facade of the building were completely repaired, windows, electrical wiring, sewer pipes, and the heating system were replaced. New heating batteries were installed. Also, interior finishing work was carried out. The floors in the children's playrooms on the first floor were insulated, and the plumbing was completely replaced, - said Dinara Azhimadinova, head of the preschool institution.
"Schools and kindergartens in villages should create favorable conditions for the education and upbringing of children. Quality education is the key to our future success. We will continue to invest in the development of infrastructure to provide our children with all the necessary conditions for learning and development. Such upgrades will not only improve the quality of education, but will also help make the daily lives of rural residents more comfortable," - said the akim.
