The regional akim held an urgent meeting with representatives of the emergency services, heads of departments, city and district akims due to the worsening weather. The meeting discussed measures to ensure safety and organize work in adverse weather conditions. Special attention was paid to coordinating the actions of all structures. The head of the region gave instructions to district akims on the allocation of all reserves, including diesel fuel. Also, the importance of ensuring that vehicles, especially buses, are accompanied by police.
Currently, sections of the road leading from the regional center to the settlements of Bolgarka, Shubarkuduk, Pokrovka, Temir, Bulak and Martok are closed. The regional akim instructed to ensure strict control over vehicles that continue to travel to the districts, ignoring the requirements.
“Akims of the districts and all services should go on air on television and social networks and provide information about the hotlines and numbers of heating points. Heating points should be ready to receive people stranded on the roads. It is necessary to monitor the condition of necessary goods to prevent unreasonable increases in prices, in particular bread. The police will ensure order by monitoring the local situation to prevent possible clashes and riots. The weather may worsen by the evening, so all services must be ready. Duty hours at emergency headquarters should be organized without delay. According to Kazhydromet, the weather is expected to worsen, so residents are advised not to travel long distances in conditions of severe cold and blizzards. The condition of patients registered in district hospitals should be monitored, and in case of urgent need, equipment will be sent to place patients in treatment facilities and transfer them to the regional center. Now is not the time to relax. "We must be prepared for possible threats," the akim warned.
At the end of the meeting, the regional head once again ordered the maximum coordination of all forces and means to prevent threats and ensure the safety of the region's residents during worsening weather conditions.
