ASTANA
The Tasqyn system for flood forecasting and modeling has been put into production. Today, flood modeling is being conducted at 142 water stations on 128 sections of rivers. 114 specialists from Kazsuchar branches and basin inspections conduct daily analysis of data from water stations and enter it into the system.

KYZYLORDA REGION
By the end of March, 1.6 billion cubic meters of water were sent to the North Aral Sea. It should be noted that from October 2024 to January of this year, more than 1 billion cubic meters of water were sent to the North Aral Sea. This is 100 million cubic meters more than the previously planned volume.

ASTANA
As part of flood preparation, 84 new equipment was provided to Kazsuchar branches. Among them are 8 truck cranes, 14 dump trucks, 7 tractors, 23 loaders and 32 gazelle vehicles. The modernization of the fleet of special equipment will allow to strengthen control over water management facilities and ensure uninterrupted operation of infrastructure, increase the efficiency and quality of work.

ZHAMBYL REGION
The Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation held a seminar on water conservation in 5 regions. During the meetings, best practices in water conservation in the country were presented and information was provided on state support measures.

ASTANA
The Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation plans to release 2.5 billion cubic meters of water this year to preserve the local ecosystem. This will improve the ecological situation and water supply in areas located near water sources.

ZHETISU REGION
The Kazsuchar branch in Zhetisu region inspected electrical equipment and lifting mechanisms as part of preparations for the flood season. Special equipment and vehicles, 372 tons of gravel, 250 tons of sand, 800 tons of soil and 16 tons of fuel and lubricants were prepared.

PAVLODAR REGION
The Kazsuchar branch in Pavlodar region cleared the entrances to dams and hydraulic structures from snow as part of preparations for the flood season. 11 pieces of special equipment were prepared.

ALMATY REGION
The D. Kunayev Greater Almaty Canal branch used special equipment to clear thick layers of ice on the Assy River in order to prevent flooding. In addition, reinforcement work was carried out on the Koram main canal.

KARAGANDA REGION
The Kazsuchar branch in the Karaganda region cleared snow from reservoirs and access roads in preparation for the flood season, and contracts were signed for the supply of inert materials to facilities.
