The play "Independents" was shown to students from schools in the capital, which depicts the harm of drugs and the fight against them. The drama was staged on the stage of the M. Gorky State Academic Russian Drama Theater, the official website of the Astana Akimat reports.
The documentary drama "Independents" by director Oleg Fedorenko tells the story of young people who have fallen into drug addiction.
The play was staged as part of the implementation of the comprehensive plan to combat drug crime in the capital and the "Astana - a city without drugs" prevention campaign.
It reflects the difficult experiences of the characters.
Schoolchildren noted the importance of the topic raised.
"I have never seen anything like this in my life, but after the play I realized how difficult it is for people and how harmful drugs can be to human life," noted 14-year-old schoolgirl Katya.
"Everything is shown very clearly. "The fate of the main characters, their circumstances, how they got into drugs and what happened after that really touched me. I've heard a lot about drug dealers and now I understand how dangerous it is," said 12-year-old Ramazan.
"The play is great. The topic is very important because children don't understand how dangerous it is," said 11-year-old student Rafael.
