By court decision, the demolition of the facility built on 3rd Street, plot 12 in the Medeu district has begun, reports the Almaty City Planning Control Department.

There is no package of construction permit documents, which was revealed during an unscheduled inspection.

As a result, administrative measures were taken against the owner (individual) with an order to eliminate the violations.

Since the owner did not comply with the requirements of the order, a claim for demolition was sent to the district court.

On February 7, 2024, the Medeu District Court satisfied the department's claim. On May 27, 2024, the Almaty City Court upheld the first-instance decision.

The demolition of the facility began today with the participation of the city's Department of Justice.

As a reminder, as part of the instructions of Almaty Mayor Yerbolat Dossayev to strengthen construction control, 67 illegal facilities, including "Mechta", KHAN and other residential complexes, have been completely or partially demolished since the beginning of 2023.
