UNT TO BE HELD IN MARCH HAS BEGUN
Today, the UNT to be held in March has begun, and it will continue until April 6. About 163 thousand people applied to participate in the UNT. 76% of them applied to take the test in Kazakh, 23.9% in Russian, and 162 people in English.
When applying, applicants chose the date, time, and location of the test themselves. On the first day of testing, 775 people across the country will take the UNT.
The most chosen combination of profile subjects is "Biology-Chemistry", that is, 17.5% of applicants planned to enter the specialties of medicine, pedagogy, and agriculture. And 17.1% chose the subjects "Mathematics-Physics", 10.5% "Mathematics-Informatics", future engineers and IT specialists, respectively.
The number of subjects in the UNT remains unchanged, that is, three are mandatory and two are optional. The number of UNT tasks is 120. Including 20 tasks from the "History of Kazakhstan", 10 tasks from "Reading Literacy", 10 tasks from "Mathematical Literacy" and 40 tasks from two profile subjects. The maximum score is 140.
Testing time is 4 hours (240 minutes). It should be noted that the additional 40 minutes recommended for children with special educational needs will be maintained.
Recall that the March UNT will be attended by school and college graduates of the previous year, Kazakhs who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as graduates who are graduating from school, who have been conditionally admitted to higher education institutions on a paid full-time basis, for admission to higher education institutions on a paid basis.
