Today, March 1, a festive gathering dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan was held in Aktau with the participation of the regional governor Nurdaulet Kilybay, on the occasion of a special holiday that celebrates unity and mutual respect in the country - Thanksgiving Day.
A memorial plaque of friendship of fraternal peoples in the Mangystau region was unveiled at the solemn event.
Speaking at the gathering, the regional governor Nurdaulet Kilybay read out a congratulatory letter from the Head of State on the anniversary. The head of the region noted that this anniversary is the fruit of the unity and harmony of all the people of the country.
“The Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Assembly, emphasized its special significance in laying the foundation for unity and harmony in the country. Our President noted that since the establishment of the Assembly, mutual understanding between the people of Kazakhstan has been strengthened, and they have been united in sharing common goals and values. The 30th anniversary of the Assembly gives us an opportunity to analyze our past and evaluate our achievements. This anniversary is the fruit of the unity and agreement of the whole people, the common success of all citizens of the country,” said Nurdaulet Kilybay.
At the solemn event, working professionals who have contributed to the development of the region were awarded.
The anniversary celebration was followed by a concert, where representatives of different ethnic groups sang and performed.
They expressed their love for Kazakhstan in their native language and expressed their gratitude.
“Kazakhstan is our common home. We live in this country in unity and solidarity. Today, representatives of other nationalities in Kazakhstan are contributing to the development of our country, the development of the region. In particular, talented, enterprising, and artistic people among us have a special place in this regard. Therefore, a thousand thanks to the veterans who participated in the creation of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan!”, - said the members of the Assembly.
