From May 30, 2025, SCAT Airlines will launch direct flights on the Shymkent - Urumqi route. The new air route will strengthen ties between Kazakhstan and China and allow for the further development of tourist and business trips.
Flight schedule:
▫ Shymkent - Urumqi: Tuesday, Friday
▫ Urumqi - Shymkent: Wednesday, Saturday
Flight duration: only 2 hours 20 minutes.

Tickets for the Shymkent - Urumqi route have been on sale since February 28.
