Rehabilitation measures for children with disabilities after cochlear implantation surgery

In accordance with the approved Rules for the provision of persons with disabilities with prosthetic and orthopedic assistance, technical auxiliary (compensatory) means, special means of transportation in accordance with the individual program of habilitation and rehabilitation of a person with disabilities, including the timing of their replacement, order of the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 30, 2023 No. 287, auditory adaptation is carried out during the first five years after the operation (i.e. children who were operated on between 2020 and 2024 inclusive), within the framework of the state assignment, specialists plan to carry out round-the-clock auditory and speech rehabilitation in Almaty, for children with a cochlear implantation system together with an accompanying person (parent or guardian).
