In Petropavl and Kyzylzhar district, work on the Ushcheva, Teplichnoye and Kozhevennyi dams is underway in an intensive mode - every minute counts.

The structures are being reinforced with concrete slabs and polypropylene canopies, mobilizing all forces, despite the weekends and holidays.

During the inspection, the Akim of North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nuramukhambetov checked the progress of these works, noted their importance and thanked the military personnel for their assistance.

"Joint efforts will help minimize risks and protect populated areas. We are working ahead of the curve!" the head of the region emphasized.
