A festive event dedicated to the celebration of Nauryz took place in the capital of Romania, organized in close collaboration with the embassies of India, Iran, Iraq, Turkmenistan, and Turkiye. This cultural celebration became a vibrant symbol of friendship and mutual understanding among nations, bringing together the traditions and customs of different cultures in a unified festival of spring and renewal.

The event was attended by representatives of ministries, members of parliament, and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Bucharest, as well as representatives of government agencies, business and public circles, media, cultural and artistic figures, the kazakh diaspora, and kazakh students studying in Romania.

Congratulating the attendees on the celebration, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Romania, Yerlik Ali, emphasized the significance of Nauryz for the people, noting that since last year, it has been celebrated in a new format called Nauryznama. In his speech, he also highlighted that Turkic peoples have long celebrated this day as a symbol of peace and harmony and that in recent years, Nauryz has gained the status of an International Day. The Ambassador stressed that this great holiday helps preserve and develop the traditions of ancestors, strengthen friendship and peace among nations, and foster deeper cultural and humanitarian cooperation between countries.

The event continued with screenings of documentary films that immersed the audience in the fascinating history and rich traditions of Nauryz, revealing the depth of its culture and significance for various peoples.

The embassies organized a festive dastarkhan (traditional feast), where guests had the opportunity to enjoy tastings of traditional national dishes. Each visitor had a unique chance to experience Kazakh culinary delights, fully embracing the holiday atmosphere.
