Kazakhstan’s Role in Multilateral Diplomacy Presented in Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv, April 1, 2025 – A scientific dispute was held at Shoham College, during which H.E. Mr. Daulet Yemberdiyev Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Israel, delivered a speech to senior students highlighting Kazakhstan’s foreign policy priorities. Particular attention was given to the country’s contribution to the advancement of multilateral diplomacy and its commitment to promoting international peace and dialogue.
In his speech Ambassador Yemberdiyev emphasized the pivotal role of the United Nations in addressing global challenges. He noted that, upon the initiative of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the UN General Assembly unanimously adopted a resolution establishing a UN Regional Centre for Sustainable Development Goals in Almaty, serving Central Asia and Afghanistan.
The event also featured a discussion on ongoing transformations in the international system amid rapid globalization and technological development. Participants exchanged views on strengthening the UN’s ability to respond to emerging challenges and its continued relevance in maintaining peace and global security.
