Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region conducted the regional round of the Republican Competition “Top 100 college students of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.  The competition is aimed at recognizing the top 100 students of technical, vocational, and post-secondary education organizations.

The goal of the competition is to support talented youth, promote skilled trades and highlight best students of technical, vocational, and post-secondary education organizations.

According to the Regulations, the following materials were to be submitted to the regional round:

1. A motivation letter.
2. A video presentation as a future specialist benefiting their region.
3. A project in their specialty aimed at regional or national development.

         A total of 23 applications and materials from 19 educational organizations were submitted to participate in the regional round.

The Expert Commission reviewed the materials of 23 participants. According to the results of the regional round of the project “TOP 100 College Students of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, the Expert Commission recommended the following students to participate in the republican round of the competition: Gali Madiyar (Ust-Kamenogorsk Higher Polytechnic College), Olga Ushakova (Ridder College), Emilia Lazarevich (Ust-Kamenogorsk College of Technology and Services), Kenes Akgul (Higher IT College of D. Serikbayev EKTU), Aruzhan Ulankadyrova, Kaiyrlykyzy Nurym (Abai East Kazakhstan College of Humanities), Salavatuly Zhanserik (Higher College of S. Amanzholov EKU), Dmitry Romanov (Humanitarian and Technical College), Sergey Zaikov (Altai Higher College), Elnar Damoldanov (Eastern Technical and Humanitarian College).
