Unemployed graduates of educational institutions under the age of 35 can participate in youth internships in order to gain initial work experience in their chosen profession (specialty). To participate in youth internships, it is necessary to apply to the career center.
The employer appoints a mentor to provide youth internship participants with professional knowledge and work experience.
The financing of youth internships is carried out by the Labor Mobility Center through the State Corporation "Government for Citizens" through monthly salary payments. Payment is made by transferring funds to the current (card) accounts of participants opened in second-tier banks based on the information provided by the employer.
The average salary in the republic was 109.5 thousand tenge, with the highest figure in Aktobe region - 120.9 thousand tenge.
The largest number of people employed through youth internships was in Turkestan - 8.6 thousand people, Kyzylorda - 3.2 thousand people, Zhambyl regions - 2.6 thousand people and Shymkent city - 2.4 thousand people.
The share of women participating in youth internships is 64.8% or 21.6 thousand people, the share of rural residents is 19.3 thousand people or 57.9%.
The most popular professions among those employed through youth internships are: nurse - 2,216 people, primary school teacher - 1,498 people, lawyer - 1,481 people, physical education teacher - 1 323 people, paramedics - 1,277 people.
