The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan is actively introducing modern digital technologies to improve the environmental situation in the country. An important initiative in this direction was the Telegram chatbot @TazaQazBot, which from June 2024 has become a convenient tool for accepting applications from the public.
How does @TazaQazBot work?
Using the chatbot is as simple and convenient as possible.
To apply, you need to:
- Sign in with the chatbot.
- Take a picture of the problem area.
- Specify the address and description of the problem.
Then the information will be sent to local executive bodies, where the responsible executor will be appointed. The deadline for the application is set automatically depending on its category. After the work is completed, the Contractor registers a photo report, and the citizen receives a message with the possibility of evaluating the work.
For the convenience of users, all applications are divided into 21 categories covering the main issues of landscaping and ecology.
Why @TazaQazBot is convenient?

✔️ Transparency of the process - the applicant can track the status of the application.
✔ ️ Feedback - you can rate the Contractor after completing the work.
✔️ Urgency - applications are sent directly to responsible services.
What problems can be solved with a chatbot? The largest number of requests are received in the following directions:
- Land collection - 4051 requests
- Household garbage disposal - 1080 requests
- Street cleaning and beautification - 926 requests
- Road repair - 656 requests

Since its launch, 14,354 requests have been received, including: 13,139 completed

How to submit a complaint?
An additional line for receiving complaints has been opened to control the quality of work - tazaqaz@ecogeo.gov.kz, you can apply again if the application is not completed satisfactorily.
