The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan is actively introducing modern digital technologies to improve the environmental situation in the country. An important initiative in this direction was the Telegram chat bot @TazaQazBot, which has become a convenient tool for receiving applications from the public since June 2024.
How does @TazaQazBot work?
Using the chat bot is as simple and convenient as possible.
To submit an application, you need to:
- Log in via the chat bot.
- Take a photo of the problem area.
- Specify the address and description of the problem.
Then the information is sent to the local executive bodies, where the responsible executor is appointed. The deadline for the application is automatically set depending on its category. After the work is completed, the Executor registers a photo report, and the citizen receives a notification with the opportunity to evaluate the work.
For the convenience of users, all applications are divided into 21 categories covering the main issues of landscaping and ecology.
Why is @TazaQazBot convenient?

✔️ Transparency of the process - the applicant can track the status of the application.
✔️ Feedback - after completing the work, the Contractor can be rated.
✔️ Speed ​​- applications are submitted directly to the responsible services.
What issues can be solved using a chatbot? The largest number of applications is received in the following areas:
- Cleaning of territories - 4051 applications
- Removal of household waste - 1080 applications
- Street cleaning and improvement - 926 applications
- Road repair - 656 applications

Since its launch, 14,354 applications have been received, including:
✅ 13,139 completed
⏳ 159 in progress
❌ 1056 rejected (due to non-compliance with the criteria)
How to file a complaint?
An additional line for receiving complaints has been opened to monitor the quality of work - tazaqaz@ecogeo.gov.kz, in case of unsatisfactory performance of the application, you can apply again.
