Over 10,000,000 tenge seized by border guards from two women

Yesterday, after border and customs control in the direction from the Republic of Kazakhstan to the ICBC, two citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan were detained by the border guard of the ICBC border control department of Khorgos. One of the border guards found an undegraded sum of money in the amount of 5,000,531, and the other - 5,000,000 tenge.

The withdrawn sum of money under the act was transferred to the employees of the customs post Altynkol.

Sacks of fish turned out to be sources of heat.

Last night, at about 0120 hours, the technical equipment of the border guard from the Eurasia outpost of the Atyrau border detachment recorded heat sources coming from the bank of the Ural River.

Sources of heat could be both wild animals and violators of the State border, hiding in the bushes from the border guards. But this time, the border guards found only two bags filled with fish of partial breeds, with a total weight of 78 kg. Apparently, poachers left their catch until the “better times”. The damage caused to nature amounted to 256 035 tenge. Bags of fish were transferred to the fish factory (Tlekshy LLP).

Detained with three bags of medicinal plants

A citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan born in 1982 was detained by the frontier outfit of the Ruslan Zakiev outpost of the Zaysan border detachment in an area called Takash, located in the Saur Mountains,

At the place of detention, 3 bags of plants and roots were found, presumably “Rhodiola rosea” (“Golden Root”).

KUI materials were transferred for investigation through the prosecutor’s office of the Zaysan district to the Zaysan ROP DP for East Kazakhstan Oblast. The detainee will be prosecuted under Art. 339 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Illegal treatment of rare and endangered species, as well as prohibited species of plants or animals, their parts or derivatives).
