Today, April 19 at the faculty of foreign languages of Karaganda state University named after E. Buketov with management on development of languages Karaganda region held a contest "Tildaryn" among young people, fluent in three languages.

The contest aims to support and encourage young people who are fluent in Kazakh, English and Russian, as well as to promote trilingualism in the multicultural space of our country and educate a multilingual person.

This event has been held since 2012. In 2015, the Republican contest was held in the city of Karaganda. In 2016, Nurkhan Nurlanov, an English teacher at the experimental school – gymnasium named after Zh. akylbayev of the Shet district, in 2017, Alibek Marat, a student of the Karaganda economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz, and in 2018, Nikita Savin, a graduate of the Nazarbayev Intellectual school in Karaganda, now a student of the Karaganda state medical University, won the Grand Prix of the Republican competition.

The competition was attended by 23 contestants from 18 to 22 years of age from the cities of Zhezkazgan, Priozersk, Saran, Temirtau, Abay, nurinsky, Shetsky districts, Karaganda state University named after E. Buketov, Zhezkazgan University named after O. Baikonurov, Bolashak Academy and colleges, as well as representatives of state structures.

During the competition, when performing tasks for the Kazakh, English and Russian language proficiency rounds, the level of knowledge of languages, the content of answers, and the ability to speak correctly in accordance with orthoepic norms in three languages were taken into account. The innovations introduced this year are paying special attention to the level of knowledge of the state language by participants. Tasks for writing essays in Kazakh and listening questions are based on the KazTest system.

By the decision of the jury, which included scientists, linguists, and language experts, the following contestants were recognized as winners and awarded cash prizes:

The Grand Prix was awarded to Tulendi Sogdiana zhanatovna, a student of the Karaganda higher College "Bolashak»;

I place - Аsset Kyzgaldak Dumanovna, Balkhash humanitarian and technical College named after A. Musin;

II place - Turkenova Aigerim Umirtayevna, Saransk humanitarian and technical College named after A. Kunanbayev;

III place - Kim Dzheysan Nikolaevich, school-Lyceum No. 101 of Karaganda city;

Consolation prizes – Serikova Kunsaya Erbolatovna, Karaganda higher Polytechnic College;

Ospanova Maidagul Amanovna, English teacher of the Akmeshit secondary school of nurinsky district,

Tleukulova Asem Erlanovna, teacher of the school-gymnasium named after Zh. Akylbayev of Shet district.

The winner of the regional competition Sogdiana Tulendi will represent the Karaganda region at the national competition "Tildaryn".
