On February 14, an extended meeting on the implementation of the state language policy was held under the leadership of Deputy akim of the region Askhat Aimagambetov. Public activists, philology scientists and representatives of mass media, heads of Departments for culture and development of languages, directors of Centers, as well as Deputy Governors of district of the region in the social sphere – in the selector mode, attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed several problematic issues in the field of language development and ways to solve them. In particular, was analyzed the work in the following areas and identified future prospects:

 - Issues of teaching the state language;

- Onomastic space of the region;

- Literacy in the texts of visual information;

- Promotion of the state language policy, informational support.

The chairman of public association “Қазақ тілі және мәдениеті” Temirgali Koketai, General Manager of regional project office for the implementation of the program «Рухани жаңғыру» Bakitkali Musabekov, Professor of the Academy «Bolashak” Kurmangazy Sembiev, associate Professor of KSU named after E.A. Buketov Zhanbyrbay  Kagazbaev,  Director of the center «Trinity of languages» at the KSTU Salauat Kentbekov, a veteran of the sphere of journalism Sagat Batyrkanova, correspondent in the regional republican newspaper «Айкын» Lyazzat Kozhakhmetova, chief editor of the regional newspaper «Арқа ақшамы» Zhanat Zhankashuly received answers to the questions and presented some ideas for improving the work. The ideas mainly concerned the issues of holding meetings at the state degree in the in the state language, the intensification of work on the ordering of onomastic space in the regional center, the correct use of the state language in visual information.

First of all, Ashat Kanatovich emphasized attention to the fact that the requirement of knowledge of the Kazakh language should begin with civil servants, set the task of teaching the state language and further improvement of language competence, strengthening cooperation with entrepreneurs to prevent errors in the texts of visual information, the implementation of onomastic policy through the organization of a wide outreach among the population. Deputy akim of the region gave a number of specific instructions to the department for the development of languages and deputy akims of the regions.
