The anti-corruption service monitored the use of funds within the framework of the "Comfortable School" national project
15.04.2025 17:53:46 1618A consultation on the implementation of the "Comfortable School" national project was held under the leadership of Ulan Sarkulov, the First Deputy Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency. During the meeting, issues of ensuring legality and transparency during the implementation of the project, as well as prevention of corruption risks were discussed, the press service of the agency reports. Today, there are 37 emergency schools and 142 schools in 3 shifts in Kazakhstan. As part of the implementation of the project, it is planned to spend 2.3 trillion tenge and provide 800 thousand student places by 2025.
In his speech in 2022, the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokaev said that "there should be suitable conditions for the education and comprehensive development of every Kazakhstan student. He noted that the new national project "Comfortable school" is aimed at this very goal.
Therefore, an important priority in the work of the anti-corruption service will be the monitoring and control of the progress of the construction of comfortable schools throughout the country.
According to the conclusion of the council, in order to prevent corruption offenses, as well as to build them in a timely and high-quality manner, an interaction algorithm was developed for the implementation of the national project with Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC.
