An aerial inspection was carried out as part of the monitoring of the flood situation in the region.

The purpose is to identify potentially dangerous places and control the flow of water through river channels, as well as the level of snow reserves, which allows taking timely measures to prevent possible flooding. Special attention was paid to the Karatorgai River, which has been carefully studied up to the border of Ulytau region.

Aeromonitoring allows to quickly respond to changes in the hydrological situation, predict the development of the flood situation and coordinate the work of emergency services.
