Employees of SKO TJD intensified the raids and explained to fishermen how dangerous it is to go out on the ice now.

After the spring ice loses its elastic properties, it does not crack, but disintegrates unexpectedly, - noted Ishar Savazov, deputy head of SKO TJD.

More than 200 preventive raids on ice have already been carried out in the region.

Specialists of SKO TJD go to the ice by car. points out that exit is always dangerous. The reservoir is not a highway, it is not intended for the movement of cars, especially in spring.

Ice thickness can be determined by its color. When the ice is gray and porous, it will crack without warning. The ice is thinner during currents, in deep and windy places, under bridges, in narrow channels where reeds, reeds and other aquatic plants grow.

Since the beginning of 2025, 6 citizens have been administratively fined for violating safety measures on the ice.

The SKO TJD asks fishermen to be vigilant, not to risk their lives to catch.
