The Great Day of the Nation, March 22, was celebrated on the square of the House of Culture named after Igibai Bazarbayev, Shankhanai Rural District. This festive event was sponsored by the citizens of our village and the heads of farms. During the event, the district akim O.I.Satkaliyev congratulated the villagers on this holiday and awarded the guys organizing the event with a letter of gratitude. A concert program with songs, dances and spectacles prepared by institutions was shown for our event. Further, all kinds of sports, i.e. arm wrestling, rope pulling, running, wrestling, tug-of-war, ram lifting, etc., continued with various events. Villagers and farmers who sponsored young people who became winners in this sports event presented cash prizes and valuable gifts. At the end of the event, the villagers enjoyed a white table of March soup prepared by various institutions.
The goal: to enlighten the traditions of our people, explaining about Nauryz, the great holiday of the Kazakh people.
