❕ From March 20 to May 23, 2025, a republican information campaign aimed at ensuring the safety of children is being held in all kindergartens, schools and colleges of the country.

πŸ“© In order to strengthen safety measures and prevent injuries to children, the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan sent relevant letters to local executive bodies about holding a single day of parents' meetings in all educational organizations. The main topic of the meeting with parents will be safety rules in water bodies and prevention of children falling from windows.

πŸ’Ό During the meeting, parents will be given special memos and methodological recommendations. In addition, the main causes of children's injuries - insufficient supervision by adults, bathing in unauthorized places and non-observance of safety measures - are discussed in detail. In this regard, preventive measures aimed at ensuring the safety of children at home, at school and on the street are recommended.

πŸ‘₯ Preventive work is organized at the level of labor teams, and teachers, representatives of educational organizations, local executive bodies and experts in the field of protection of children's rights participate in it. Unfortunately, various accidents happen more often during this period. Children's safety is our common responsibility. I call on all parents to strengthen precautions, explain safety rules to children and not leave them unattended," noted Nasymzhan Ospanova, chairwoman of the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Its main goal is to draw the attention of parents and the public to home safety issues and provide information on preventive measures. πŸ” It should be noted that in accordance with the changes made to the legislation starting from 2024, all construction companies are obliged to install protective locks on windows in new apartment buildings. This requirement applies to all residential buildings put into operation since last year and is one of the comprehensive state measures to ensure children's safety.
