The number of detected violations increased by 28% compared to 2016 (92,254 and 127,252, respectively). The fine amount is 1.009 billion. amounted to tenge. That is, it increased by 4% in one year.

At the meeting of the board, importance was attached to the need to strengthen control over the movement of heavy vehicles. For this purpose, it is planned to adopt a law on transport issues in 2018. Within this law, automated control will be introduced, which will show the exact reason for stopping motor vehicles. 

Taking into account the operation of the mentioned systems in 2013-2014, the AAC is used only in the context of re-measurement control. In total, it is planned to increase the number of operational transport companies to 20 by the end of the year.

In 2017, the share of Kazakhstan carriers in the international transport market increased by 52% for the first time. In order to achieve this figure, the transport control authorities took the following measures: the number of inspected foreign motor vehicles by 7.3%, blocking of messages from the external borders of the Eurasian Economic Union by 95%, and compared to 2016, the volume of issuing foreign permits to Kazakhstan carriers increased by 12.8%. 

This year, it is planned to reduce the number of public services from 35 to 14 by optimizing business processes in the field of transport, transferring the service period and personal permits to electronic format. For example, a new Law on railway transport is being drafted, which will establish the responsibility of the participants in the transportation process, regulate their mutual relations, and introduce passenger service standards. In particular, the technical control of small-sized ships will be removed and the procedure for their inspection will be regulated by the introduction of saltings into the legislation, and the period for inspection of marine vessels will be established. That is, now once every six months, the function of monitoring the carrier's civil liability insurance before passengers will be canceled. 

The issue of corruption risks in the work of the individual Committee and its territorial bodies was set on the agenda. The Committee conducted an internal analysis of corruption risks in September and December 2017. Taking into account the results, it is planned to introduce online pre-registration of vehicles by international carriers in the field of road transport; installation of automated measurement systems on moving vehicles; adoption of legislative amendments on grounds for stopping a motor vehicle, removal of paper permits.
