Today, a meeting with representatives of the PRC customs was held at the Altynkol-Zhol customs post of the State Revenue Department of Zhetysu region. The Chinese side was represented by the head of the Khorgos customs post of the Urumqi city customs department Mao Zhungang, the head of the integrated operations department Hamid Saimaid, the head of the checkpoint management department Li Nun, the head of the customs control unit Khaisal Smakhur, the deputy head of the checkpoint management unit Abdukhaliy Abduharak.
The meeting was attended by the head of the department of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gabit Orazov, the deputy head of the State Revenue Department of Zhetysu region Nurlan Baimuldinov, the head of the customs administration department Shalkar Bolatbek, the head of the Altynkol-Zhol customs post Arman Kozhasbayev and his deputy Beken Nurakhmetov from the Kazakh side. During the meeting, the Chinese partners were given a broad presentation on the work of the customs post, including the automation of the customs system in accordance with modern requirements, the introduction of information technology, customs control processes and clearance of goods and vehicles, inspection using an inspection and screening complex, risk management methods and other issues related to technical regulations. At the end of the meeting, the Chinese side highly appreciated the work of the Kazakh customs post, which operates in accordance with modern requirements of the era of globalization, and proposed holding the next meeting in China.
