During the export-import currency control, employees of the Department of State Revenue for the Pavlodar region established the facts of unfulfilled obligations of foreign companies to Pavlodar enterprises in the amount of over 1,665 thousand US dollars. Pavlodar enterprises exported agricultural products (grain, potatoes, sunflower seeds, etc.) and did not transfer the proceeds in national and (or) foreign currency from exports to bank accounts. A resident, in accordance with article 9 of the Law "On Currency Regulation and Currency Control", is obliged to ensure the repatriation of national and (or) foreign currency within the time limits stipulated by the currency agreement on export or import. By resolutions of the Pavlodar city and regional courts, resident enterprises were found guilty under article 251 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan and subjected to administrative fines in the amount of 215 million tenge.
