With the aim of enhancing the creative potential of young teachers and developing their innovative activity, from April 13 to 17, 2026, in the city of Shchuchinsk on the basis of the Republican Educational and Health Center "Baldauen", the VIII Republican Competition for Young Teachers "A Modern Teacher for a New School" was held.

Young teachers with work experience from 0 to 3 years participated in the competition.

Based on the competition results, Tokhtarova Laura Serikovna, a teacher of Russian language and literature at KGU "Secondary School No. 7" of the Education Department for the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, was awarded the nomination "Best Participant".
