Bangkok, April 21, 2025 – The opening ceremony of the Technology Hub Hall, made possible with the support of the Government of Kazakhstan, took place as part of the commencement of the 81st Session of the United Nations ESCAP Commission in Bangkok.

The new meeting space is equipped with modern multimedia equipment and features interior design in a national style, incorporating traditional Kazakh ornaments.

In his statement, Mr. Arman Issetov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary – Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the UN ESCAP, emphasized that Kazakhstan has traditionally played an active role in the organization’s work and contributes to the achievement of its goals.

Kazakhstan also places great importance on digital technologies, which help countries achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

The speech also emphasized that the new hall and its equipment should serve as a source of inspiration and new ideas for the UN ESCAP team and guests.
