Today, servicemen of military unit 6505 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan — Askhat Baisetov, Kydyrbai Yerlan, Vyacheslav Kozhakhmetov, and Mikhail Bubnov — were on their way to duty in the village of Dolinka when they noticed a residential house on fire. Acting immediately, the guardsmen rushed to the scene and, without hesitation, entered the burning building and carried out three children.

It is important to note that the servicemen not only rescued the children but also removed a 50-liter gas cylinder from the house, which posed a significant explosion risk.

— When we saw the fire, we rushed straight towards it. The children were crying, and it was extremely hard to breathe because of the smoke, but we knew that every second counted. For us, this isn’t heroism — it's what we are trained to do every day. We swore an oath to protect people, and in any situation, we must remain true to that oath, — the guardsmen shared.

Currently, firefighting crews are working at the scene. Thanks to the quick and decisive actions of the servicemen, a major tragedy was averted.

This incident once again proves that the servicemen of the law enforcement troops are always ready to protect the country and ensure the safety of its citizens.
