The head of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov held an operational meeting in the village of Teplichnoye on the flood situation in the region and heard reports from the leaders. Our region continues to fight the natural disaster. The task of preserving the dam in the village of Teplichnoye has been completed.

The main task is to preserve the lives and health of our citizens. Employees of the regional Department of Emergency Situations, the Academy of the National Guard, military unit 6637, the Academy of Civil Defense, rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations from other regions, civil servants, representatives of all districts of the region, volunteers and local residents were involved in the fortification work around the clock. Divers were involved.

Active assistance was provided by employees of enterprises and organizations. Police officers ensured order. Meals were organized for the participants in the work, an ambulance was on duty.

In total, over 1.5 thousand people and all the necessary equipment were involved. The regional akim expressed his sincere gratitude to everyone for their invaluable contribution to protecting the settlement from the water threat.

"The work will continue in an enhanced mode until the water recedes. We need to continue to act in a coordinated and responsible manner to ensure the safety of each resident and preserve the infrastructure," the head of the region noted.
