Today, an offline meeting was held in Turkestan to discuss the issues of mobile and home Internet of settlements in the region, the installation of video surveillance cameras and the provision of public services.

      The event was chaired by the head of the Department of digitalization, public services and archives Marat Faritovich. The meeting was attended by employees of akimats of 17 districts and cities responsible for digitalization.

      Head of the Department "control of Telecommunications and public services" Shakarim Yerkebek discussed the current state and ways of development of the mobile internet in the region and the internet coverage of residential buildings. They also discussed issues related to the installation of video surveillance cameras.

      In addition, the Chief Specialist of the Department "telecommunications and control of public services" Akerke Baidullayeva reported on public monitoring. According to the results of 12 months of 2024, 26,032,264 services were provided, of which 96.8% were provided in electronic form, 3% were provided on an alternative basis, and 0.9% were provided in paper form.
      After explanatory work was carried out for employees of akimats of districts and cities,mobile operators “TransTeleCom”, “Freedom Telecom”, “Jusan Mobile”, “Kcell”, “Tele2”, “Activ”, “Beeline” were invited to the event. They explained to visitors how radio planning works are carried out and how to supply the internet to settlements that do not have technical capabilities, and discussed the work on internet coverage of residential buildings.
