Competition on social responsibility of business "Paryz" in 2025

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 23, 2008 No. 523 "On the competition on social responsibility of business "Paryz" (hereinafter referred to as the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan), the start of the competition on social responsibility of business in 2023 is announced.

The competition is held in two stages: at the regional and national levels. Private business entities can participate in it.

The titles of laureates of the competition are awarded in two categories:

1) small and medium-sized business entity;

2) large business entity;

and in four nominations:

1) "Best socially responsible enterprise".

This nomination examines the activities of candidates implementing social programs aimed at supporting their own personnel, social adaptation of people with disabilities and improving the well-being of society as a whole (organization of wages and social benefits, systems of professional training and retraining of personnel, employment of the largest number of people with disabilities, etc.);

2) "Best enterprise in the field of labor protection".

This nomination examines the activities of candidates creating working conditions that allow maintaining the health of workers in the process of work;

3) "Best collective agreement".

This nomination examines collective agreements that significantly improve and strengthen the labor and social rights of workers stipulated by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

4) "For contribution to the environment".

This nomination examines the activities of candidates who have significantly distinguished themselves in the implementation of environmental (ecological) programs aimed at improving the state of the environment.

The competition establishes a special award "Best social project of the year".

This special award is for social projects implemented by businesses that promote employment and/or improve the living conditions of socially vulnerable and low-income groups.

The Grand Prix is ​​the highest award of the competition and is awarded to the applicant who has achieved the highest results in work and implementation of the principles of corporate social and environmental responsibility.

To participate in the competition, applicants submit materials in two copies, which include:

1) a completed application;

2) an applicant's report, which is a self-assessment of the level of activity and specific results on corporate social responsibility. The applicant's report must include: the history of a legal entity or individual; organizational structure; other additional information;

3) an appendix to the report (a copy of the collective agreement and other documents);

4) a questionnaire.

District and city departments of employment and social programs are accepting applications for participation in the competition.

Applicants shall prepare and submit materials on paper and electronic media to local executive bodies, in accordance with the Competition Rules approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Applicants who:

1) have been operating for at least three years;

2) are not in the process of liquidation, have not been declared bankrupt;

3) have no outstanding violations of labor legislation, including overdue wages and other payments to employees;

4) have no collective labor disputes with employees;

5) have no more than 50 percent of shares or state participation in authorized capital;

6) carry out social and charitable activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which should not be aimed at supporting political, trade union or religious organizations;

7) have provided reliable information in their application for participation in the competition and have submitted all necessary documents in full.

Business entities can contact the employment agencies of the districts and the city of Petropavlovsk to participate, demonstrating their positive experience in social and labor relations.

Applicants can provide all necessary materials to the department of employment and social programs coordination or district and city departments of employment and social programs.

The deadline for submitting applications for participation in the competition ends on July 1, 2025.
