A seminar on "Gambling addiction, ludomania" was held with civil servants of the State Revenue Department for the Akmola region and the State Revenue Department for the city of Kokshetau, chaired by Bauyrzhan Shaikenov, Deputy Head of the State Department of Ethics, with the participation of Assel Bazarbayeva, a psychologist at the International Resource Center for the City of Kokshetau. Ludomania is an addiction when a person suffers from an obsessive need for gambling, despite the negative consequences for his physical, psychological, financial or social well–being.

Our task is to prevent ludomania. We focus on preventing such cases and warn employees about the legal consequences of such participation," said Bauyrzhan Shaikenov, Deputy Head of the State Revenue Department.

The seminar participants were given answers to their questions.
