Akim of East Kazakhstan Region Nurymbet Saktaganov visited the Kalisatuly farm specializing in crop production and livestock farming in the Samara district.

The farm is actively engaged in growing grain crops, including Altayskaya-325 wheat, Ilek barley and Skakun oats. Along with this, livestock farming is developing - the number of cattle and horses. The total area of ​​land is 2,360 hectares, including arable land, pastures and hayfields.

The visit to the facility was part of a program to assess the potential of the agricultural sector of the district, the territory of which covers 5.5 thousand square kilometers, includes 8 rural districts and 22 rural settlements. The basis of the economy of the Samara district is agriculture: the volume of gross output of agriculture, forestry and fisheries this year reached 1,257.7 million tenge. The growth of indicators compared to the same period last year was 110.6%.

The Akim of the region emphasized the importance of further development of the agricultural sector.
