Today, May 9 - on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, a wreath-laying ceremony was held in the district at the monument "The name of the nation is remembered."

The gathered community bowed to the spirit of the Bozds who bravely died in the terrible war and laid flowers on the monument.

During the event, a minute of silence was held in memory of the heroes who died on the way to the Great Victory, and the Koran was recited.

According to official data, 2316 citizens from the district went to the Great Patriotic War. Only 695 of them returned safely to the country, and 1,621 soldiers died bravely on the battlefield. Even if their bones remain in a foreign place, their name will remain forever in the memory of the country.
