In order to prevent social tensions in the city of Shymkent, public receptions were held within the framework of the project "Peace and Harmony" of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan.
Within the framework of the mentioned project, under the organization of the Department of Religious Affairs of the city of Shymkent, on April 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the school No. 104 located in the residential area of ​​Bazarkakpa, Enbekshi district, reception of the small group "Inter-faith harmony" from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. was held.
On this occasion, the questions of residents of Bazarkakpa and Sayram settlements were fully answered. The visiting congregation was fully satisfied with the answers given and wished success to our ongoing work.
Members of the small working group created for the purpose of maintaining and strengthening inter-ethnic and inter-confessional harmony, prevention of ethno-social conflicts: K. Shuken, M. Head of the Department of International Relations and International Law, Faculty of Law of South Kazakhstan University named after Auezov - E. Bekbosynov, director of the "Religious Research Center", theologian A. Uralbayev and 5 district chief imams: E. Esengeldiev, E. Orin, B. Jamish, E. Kalshabekov, E. Bekbauov.
Today, the religious situation in the settlements is stable.
