Regional stage of the "Altyn Saka" Republican Mathematical Olympiad for 3-4 graders
On April 18, 2025, with the support of the Republican Scientific and Experimental Center "Daryn" of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the educational center "School for the Development of Intelligent Mind" and the "Scientific-Methodological Center for the Development of Giftedness and Additional Education" KMM organized by the "Scientific Methodological Center for the Development of Talent and Additional Education" The regional stage of the Republican Mathematical Olympiad "Altyn Saka" was held among the 3rd-4th grade students of educational institutions of Abay Region in order to identify children capable of mathematics, to form students' interest in mathematics, to accustom students to analyze mathematical concepts, to think critically, to solve complex problems. According to the results of the Olympiad, 34 students of educational institutions of Semipalatinsk (3rd grade - 17 students, 4th grade - 17 students) won prizes, and 9 participants were awarded diplomas for their outstanding achievements. The winners of the 1st prize place in the team of Abay region were sent to the republican stage of the "Altyn Saka" Olympiad:
Murat Alan (grade 3, gymnasium No. 6, teacher Kostina Inna Aleksandrovna);
Aytimbetov Alimger (grade 3, gymnasium No. 6, teacher Ualzhanova Raushan Amantaevna);
Elshat Toreali (3rd grade, No. 16 T.Amanov Primary School, teacher Baizhuldanova Gulmira Bekenovna);
Riza Sanzhar (4th grade, Shakarim Polytechnic No. 5 Gymnasium, teacher Nurakhmetova Zhanar Boramovna);
Moldagali Baizhan (4th grade, No. 6 Gymnasium, teacher Chetyrkina Olga Alexandrovna); Gymnasium No. 37 named after Y. Altynsarin, teacher Saltanat Raikhanovna Shumakova);
The Semey city team won the Grand Prize in the team competition according to the results of the Olympics.
