On May 26, as part of the implementation of the state language policy, a meeting of representatives of pharmacy chains with authorized bodies was held, organized by the Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay region. During the meeting, issues of quality and accessibility of presentation of information about medicines, advertising and reference materials in the official language in the pharmacy sector were discussed. The issue of providing high-quality customer service in the Kazakh language was also raised. The event was attended by representatives of the Department for Consumer Protection of Kostanay region and the Department of the Committee for Medical and Pharmaceutical Control in Kostanay region. The parties stressed that the development of the state language is a common task, and expressed their willingness to strengthen cooperation in this area. Following the meeting, the participants voiced specific proposals aimed at expanding the scope of the Kazakh language in pharmacy services.
