In the finals of the Asian Volleyball Championship held in Hangzhou, China, the national team of Kazakhstan defeated the Chinese team 3:2 (22:25, 19:25, 25:19, 25:20, 8:5) and became the Asian champion for the first time in its history.

According to the results of the championship, the first place was taken by Kazakhstan, the second place by China, and the third place by the Thai team. Eric Kaskabaev was named the best ball passer, Chingys Medeuov was named the best libero, and Almat Ospanov was named the best blocker.

According to the mentioned results, the national teams of Kazakhstan and China won a ticket to the 2026 World Championship in China. 8 men's and 7 women's national teams took part in the competition.
