On July 1, 2025, a large-scale republican march project "Seriler Salgan Sarah zhol" was launched from the Arshaly district of the Akmola region, which became a vivid symbol of respect for the history of the Kazakh people and popularization of the heritage of sulfur, a unique cultural phenomenon.

The project manager is Ayan Mynbayuly Kemalov.

The march passes through the Karkaralinsky district of the Karaganda region and ends in the village of Zhidebai in the Abai region, which is considered the spiritual cradle of the Kazakh nation. The project participants follow routes related to the life and work of famous representatives of the Somali tradition, hold meetings with the population, perform traditional songs and organize cultural evenings. 

Project objectives:

• Popularization of national traditions and cultural heritage
• Revival and preservation of Salesian art
• Promotion of a healthy lifestyle and spiritual values
• Familiarizing young people with the history, culture and work of outstanding personalities
• Visiting significant historical and cultural sites of Kazakhstan

, Sal-seri are not just poets and singers, they are carriers of the spirit of freedom, honor and high morality. Their way of life and creativity is a spiritual wealth that is important to preserve and pass on to new generations. This is exactly what the project team is doing, focusing on educating young people through art and national values.

In 2024, the Seriler Salgan Sarah Zhol project was recognized as the winner in the "Best Creative Project" nomination at the Zhyl Uzdigi – 2024 regional competition in Akmola region, which indicates its high public importance.

The republican march "Seriler salgan Sarah zhol" is not just a cultural initiative. It is a spiritual journey connecting the past and the present, inspiring society to preserve and develop national identity.
