an expanded meeting dedicated to the implementation of the national project "Taza Kazakhstan".

In his speech, the head of the region stressed that ecological culture and environmental cleanliness are becoming one of the key priorities of state policy.
– Today we face the task of forming a new ecological consciousness based on respect for the environment. The Taza Kazakhstan program unites people and awakens in them a sense of responsibility for how we leave our home to future generations,– Kumar Aksakalov said.

The meeting summed up the results of the work done since the beginning of the year. 11.6 billion tenge has been allocated for landscaping, landscaping and improving the ecological status of settlements this year.

Positive changes are taking place in both urban and rural areas. 7 parks are being improved in the regional center according to modern standards. In general, 4.3 billion tenge was allocated to improve the condition of 80 parks in the region. The repair of the road network is also actively underway - more than 102 billion tenge is provided for these purposes, which is 38% more than last year.

Much attention is paid to landscaping: 88.5 thousand seedlings were planted in the spring, which is 83.9% of the plan.
Positive changes are also taking place in rural settlements, where parks, playgrounds and sports grounds are being created, street lights are being installed, and streets are being landscaped.

A special place in the implementation of the initiative is given to work with youth.
School—age and student-age activists, participants in the Ecosakshy project, created to monitor the state of territories and involve young people in environmental protection, made presentations at the meeting.
Kumar Aksakalov noted the importance of civic engagement:
– Strong public participation is the key to the successful implementation of any government program. Environmental education should start from childhood. It is young people who are becoming real environmentalists today.

During the meeting, examples of both the successful implementation of the program's objectives and the facts of insufficient control by individual enterprises, akimats and police authorities were considered. The akim of the region instructed to conduct internal inspections in cases where there was no reaction to the identified violations of landscaping.

Kumar Aksakalov emphasized the importance of environmental patrolling. The participants of the Ecosakshy project were instructed to step up work in the districts of the region, as well as interact with law enforcement agencies and transmit the identified facts of violations through the Taza Kazakhstan chatbot.

One of the new directions was the idea of creating a public space in the forest area near the village of Michurino, Kostanay region, as part of the future "green belt" of the city. The Department of Natural Resources and the Akimat of Kostanay region were instructed to develop design and estimate documentation for the improvement of this territory.

At the end of the meeting, Kumar Aksakalov emphasized:
– Everything we do today is the air that our children will breathe tomorrow. We must leave future generations not only a legacy, but also an environment for life. "Taza Kazakhstan" is not a one—season campaign. This is a new standard of attitude towards our land, towards our home.

At the end of the year, another meeting is planned to be held, where the work of each district on the implementation of the program will be assessed.
