Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan Continue to Strengthen Allied Relations and Strategic Dialogue

Cholpon-Ata, July 1, 2025 – At the invitation of the Kyrgyz side, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu paid an official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the visit, Minister Nurtleu was received by the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov.

The Head of State of Kyrgyzstan expressed satisfaction with the steady deepening of allied relations and strategic partnership between the two countries, and emphasized the traditionally high level of Kazakh-Kyrgyz cooperation within multilateral frameworks.

The Kazakh Foreign Minister conveyed warm greetings and best wishes on behalf of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The parties exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of multifaceted bilateral cooperation. The Kazakh side reaffirmed its commitment to further strengthening and expanding allied relations with fraternal Kyrgyzstan.

Key aspects of the upcoming official visit of the President of Kazakhstan to the Kyrgyz Republic were discussed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, President Japarov praised the level of bilateral ties and expressed readiness to continue meaningful and dynamic cooperation.
