On August 9, 2025, a large-scale clean-up was held in Shymkent as part of the republican environmental campaign "Clean Kazakhstan". Employees of the department and subordinate institutions actively participated in this event, carrying out cleaning of irrigation systems and street-construction areas in the city. Also, action in extreme situations demonstrates their social and environmental importance not only in our country.

On Saturday morning, working youth and environmental officials in Shymkent gathered at a designated location and began cleaning irrigation canals. The bottomless pits along the canals were cleared and work was carried out to restore unobstructed water flow. This step will contribute to the effective functioning of the irrigation system in the city and ensure the cleanliness of agricultural irrigation and urban irrigation canals.

In addition, during the Saturday, law enforcement and construction workers, youth organizations, and volunteers collected garbage, weeds, and dead bushes near houses, contributing to the improvement of residential areas. Such initiatives help to renew the appearance of the city and maintain sanitary cleanliness. The teams, reinforced with equipment and truck alarms, cleaned the area and removed the garbage to the designated place.

Compared to previous experiences, this time the campaign focused on special works aimed at the irrigation system, unlike the one held in the Enbekshi district on August 6, 2025. Previous campaigns focused mainly on garbage collection, cleaning bus stops, pedestrian paths, and trees.

For example, during the cleaning event in Enbekshy district, residents and employees of institutions were limited to cleaning the yards around houses, cutting dead branches, sweeping the road, and washing bus stops and sidewalks. However, in the current cleanup, systematic work focused on irrigation channels, efficient use of equipment and resources, demonstrates a new requirement and new quality.

In addition, taking into account the experience of previous years, the "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign, in addition to forming an ecological culture in the country, increases the level of cooperation between state bodies and public institutions. Shymkent clean-up days are held frequently, and each district is organized centrally. Each campaign increases the activity of residents and strengthens the reliability of public services.

It should be noted that Sabbilik is not just a one-time social event, but an ongoing public project. In the future, this initiative will continue, and the work on cleaning every remote corner will be intensified. Attracting volunteers, schoolchildren, and civic activists, irrigation and cleanliness will be combined with environmental education at the table of events aimed at raising public awareness.

In general, the August 9th Sabbath is not just a "cleaning day", it is a reflection of the sustainable development of the city and a society that has taken a step towards environmental responsibility. By coordinating the cleaning of irrigation canals and garbage collection, the department and employees of the institution largely improved the ecological quality of public infrastructure and contributed to maintaining the ecological peace of the population.

Always, the Sabbath is a harmonious activity between society and the authorities. And today's Sabbath proved that the quality of environmental activities is increasing through the "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign.
