How the new Tax Code will simplify business life

The availableclarifications of the newTaxCode will helpbusinessesandcitizensadapttochangesfaster,avoidreportingerrors, andplanfinanceseffectively.Tothis end, the Ministry of Finance has launched a large-scaleinformationcampaigncoveringallregions of the country. On August14, 2025, inKokshetau, with the support of the NationalChamber of Entrepreneurs"Atameken", aseminar was held with the participation of DeputyChairman of the StateRevenueCommittee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of KazakhstanZhanybekNurzhanov.Akmolaregionis an industrial and agriculturalregion.
There are more than 1,000enterprisesoperatinginindustryhere,and the regionis a majorproducerandexporter of agricultural products,includingwheatandflour.
The region plays an important role in ensuring the food security of the capital, so explaining new approaches to taxation, optimizing reporting and tax procedures are especially important for local entrepreneurs.
ZhanybekNurzhanovsaidthatflexibleandunderstandablespecialtaxregimes will be introducedforbusinessesand the self-employedfromJanuary1, 2026.This will reducebureaucraticproceduresandallowentrepreneurs to focusonbusinessdevelopmentratherthancomplexreportingandinspections."Approachestotaxadministration are fundamentallychanging.
Firstly,deskinspections will nowbepreventive in nature.
Secondly, the procedures for debt collection,deferralandinstallmentpayments are significantlysimplified.
Thirdly, with insignificant amounts of arrears, the SRC will no longer automatically block the accounts of entrepreneurs.
Instead, a phasednotificationsystem will beapplied,which will givebusinesses the opportunity to correctviolations in a timely manner,"said the deputy head of the State RevenueCommittee.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of the Ministry of Finance gave detailed answers to relevant questions.
The next seminar will be held on August 18 in Kostanay, Kostanay region.
