In his opening remarks, Amir Aldazhanov, a diplomat of the Embassy, presented Kazakhstan’s achievements in digitalisation, artificial intelligence development, IT start-up support, and e-commerce promotion. He also outlined government support measures for foreign investors, including tax incentives, streamlined regulatory procedures, and access to the rapidly growing markets of Central Asia and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The diplomat emphasized Kazakhstan’s readiness to share its digital transformation experience and to collaborate with Malaysian companies on implementing joint projects. According to him, the potential for Kazakhstan-Malaysia cooperation in the digital economy and innovation remains high, and the Kazakh side welcomes a more active presence of Malaysian businesses in its market.

Representatives of Rifhan Technologi and CSQ Consulting, who were among the first Malaysian residents of the AIFC, shared their experience of working in Kazakhstan, noting the openness and readiness of Kazakh institutions to support foreign investors, as well as the country’s well-developed business infrastructure.
