Kazakhstan conducts training for Central Asian civil servants in the field of digitalization
Astana, 25–27 August 2025 — Kazakhstan Agency of International Development «KazAID» under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in cooperation with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), is holding a seminar as part of the Dostyk – Digitalization programme, which was launched in 2024.
The event is attended by civil servants from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. The programme includes lectures and practical workshops on artificial intelligence, innovations in e-government, public administration reforms, social innovations, as well as open data and integration.
Kazakhstan, which is a leader in Central Asia in terms of digitalization, is sharing best practices and success stories in this area with its partner countries. The seminar is being held at Astana Hub with the participation of leading Kazakhstani experts and invited specialists from South Korea.
Participation in the programme is free of charge thanks to a grant from KazAID, and a cultural programme in Astana is provided for foreign participants.

As part of our official development assistance, we not only transfer knowledge, but also strengthen cooperation between the countries of Central Asia,’ said Arken Arystanov, Chairman of the Board of KazAID.
