At the General Command of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an information session was held on the topic “Cybersecurity and Cyber Fraud”, conducted by representatives of the Center for Analysis and Investigation of Cyber Attacks (TSARKA).

TSARKA expert Dias Abdigazizov briefed servicemen on the most relevant online threats and fraud schemes. He explained in detail how attackers can use victims’ names to obtain electronic digital signatures (EDS) and take out loans from microfinance organizations. Servicemen also learned how to properly protect their social media accounts and safely use smartphones and computers.

Special attention was given to issues of digital hygiene and the protection of personal data. According to TSARKA specialists, improving digital literacy is an essential condition for cybersecurity, both for individuals and for society as a whole.

It is worth noting that the event helped raise servicemen’s awareness in the field of information security and highlighted the importance of cooperation between the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and specialized expert organizations.
