The first step towards a new harvesting season has been taken in Karmakshi district. Today, the first rice harvest has arrived in the fields of the Bolashak peasant farm in the III International rural district.
Akim of the district Zhandos Yerkinbek took part in the event and wished success to the farmers who joined the labor front. In his speech, the head of the district:
"Today is a reflection of the hard work of the peasant and farming community, who tirelessly sweated from dawn to dusk, setting up the harvest in the summer. In 2025, crops will be planted on an area of 25,457 hectares, including rice -12,993 hectares.
Karmakshins are a hardworking people who, from early spring, despite the summer heat, worked tirelessly in the steppe garden, watching the harvest. Where there is unity, there is a blessing. Our neighborhood is distinguished not only by its rice, but also by its well-being, commitment to work, unity and solidarity.

In addition, Chairman of the district council of veterans Askar Merekov wished that the year would be blessed and that the people would be generous.
At the end of the event, the akim of the district and the guests present held the first harvest sickle at the beginning of the field and expressed respect for the work of field workers.
It is worth noting that 497 pieces of equipment are ready to take part in the autumn field work in the region this year, including 174 tractors, 75 combines, 84 harvesters, 64 trucks, and 100 tractor trailers. In addition, massive 100% work has been carried out on the preparation of garden lands and sowing measures, a total of 415 hectares have been sown to date, including 125 hectares of potatoes, 100 hectares of vegetables, 192 hectares of melons. Additionally prepared garden lands were allocated to 950 families.
