President of Lebanon Joseph Aoun receives Kazakh Ambassador

On September 8, in Beirut, President of Lebanon Joseph Aoun received the Ambassador of Kazakhstan  Rasul Jumaly. During the conversation, the Lebanese leader expressed his warm disposition towards Kazakhstan and expressed interest in developing comprehensive cooperation with it. It was noted that the two countries have great potential in terms of strengthening trade, economic, investment, cultural and tourist ties. In this regard, the political understanding and trust established between Astana and Beirut are a solid foundation for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation. In turn, Rasul Jumaly conveyed warm greetings from the leadership of Kazakhstan to the President and the People of Lebanon, wishing success in overcoming the current difficult times in the Middle East and achieving stability. During the conversation, which took place in a warm atmosphere, the diplomat spoke about the current situation in Kazakhstan and the development of its comprehensive ties with the outside world, including Arab countries. At the same time, Kazakhstan expects to develop good relations with Lebanon, which is historically considered one of the largest centers of civilization in the region and is currently distinguished by its business and tourist attractiveness. Specific projects aimed at giving impetus to bilateral relations are planned to be discussed during political consultations of the Foreign Ministries of the two states, which will take place in the near future.
